The tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is associated frequently with difficult to control epilepsy, which affects the quality of life and cognitive level of these patients. One study described the epidemiological, clinical, and treatment sleep apnea of patients affected with epilepsy CET.

Note the positive response obtained with other therapeutic possibilities: inhibitors of the mTOR pathway, surgery, and vagus nerve stimulator.
